I like editing videos the best. I like editing even more than being in front of the camera. Editing is really hard and takes a long time, but in the end, if you do it right, the video turns out really good.

How old are you Ellie?

I am 11 years old. I have been 11 for a few months now.

When did you start making videos?

I don’t even know… I started a long time ago. I think I was in 3rd grade.

What was the first video you remember making?

I made a video for ‘Jump Rope for Heart’ with a few friends and I gave it to my gym teacher. It was a fundraiser that my school had to raise money for people with heart disease or heart problems. They played the video for the kids in my school.

What made you want to start a YouTube channel?

I got the Video Star app on my iTouch and I really liked it. I saw other kids my age that had YouTube channels where they posted their Video Star videos. I really wanted a YouTube channel to post my videos so I asked my mom and she thought it was a fun idea.

What do you enjoy the most about making videos and films?

I like editing videos the best. I like editing even more than being in front of the camera. Editing is really hard and takes a long time, but in the end, if you do it right, the video turns out really good.

How long did it take you to make your first YouTube video?

It took me about 8 hours straight!

Who are your YouTube inspirations?

Born to be Fighter, 0fficalJenn, ButterflyIceCream (who doesn’t have a YouTube channel anymore), InfintiySky Lisa and Miranda Sings. She is so funny. I would absolutely love to be in one of her videos!

What do you think your next big steps are in making videos and films?

I would love to reach 1,000 subscribers on my YouTube Channel. I currently have about 700. I also would love to collab with 0fficialJenn who is a YouTuber from England.
